Vincent Laforet is a French American director and photographer who is one of the pre-eminent photographers working in contemporary photography and film today.
Vincent produced the photographic images for a very impressive two hundred and twenty eight page book entitled Air which features extraordinary high definition, high altitude aerial images shot from above ten iconic cities around the world. Recent technological advances made the Air project possible. The book measures 36.6cm x 27.4cm x 2.8cm and can be purchased for US$59.95.
Vincent shared the 2002 Pulitzer Prize for Feature Photography with four other photographers who were all members of a New York Times team covering post 9/11 events and focusing on the conflict in Afghanistan and Pakistan. He subsequently won three awards at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival in 2010.
