A pool table very unlike the traditional design.

by The REJIGIT Blog

Brothers Davide and Gabriele Adriano from Adriano Design based in Busto Arsizio, Lombardy in the north west of Italy designed the luxurious Filotto pool table.

The Adriano brother’s work has been displayed in several distinguished museums including the Triennale Design Museum and the Chicago Athenaeum. They have also received several international awards, including the Compasso d’Oro ADI 2014.

The Filotto table’s crystalline structure and its stainless steel frame are both adjustable and detachable and support a very substantial crystal plate and solid slate playing surface all of which weighs in at 600kg (750kg packaged). The table dimensions are 167cm x 137cm x 102cm (h).

The table has been designed to give the illusion that its felt top appears to hover over the four transparent legs and a thin steel wire embedded in the frame provides structural support.

Tables are able to be customised. The Simonis wool cloth playing surface is available in twenty five colours and the leather pockets in eight different colours.

The other products in Adriano Design's  Calma e Gesso collection includes Lungolinea - Table Tennis Table, Unootto - Octagonal Poker Table, Tuttuno - Mahong Table, Tocco - Marble Cue Rack.
