Vincent van Gogh’s bedroom in Arles is arguably the most famous bed chamber in the history of art. It also held special significance for the Artist who created three distinct paintings of this space from 1888 to 1889.

To compliment an exhibition of Van Gogh’s works, the Art Institute of Chicago re-created Van Gogh’s bedroom moving the art experience from a linear to a three dimensional experience. Ravenswood Studio artists and designers spent four weeks bringing the painting to life.
