The New Zealand Architecture Awards programme is operated under the auspices of the New Zealand Institute of Architects (NZIA) and the programme has been sponsored by Resene Paints - NZ since 1990. Thirty four awards for 2018 were recently announced of which, the following are some.
The jury convenor for the 2018 Canterbury Awards was Christchurch architect Melanda Slemint and her fellow jurors were Wellington architect Mary Daish together with Christchurch architects Charlie Nott, Duval O’Neill and Michael O’Sullivan.
