As a consequence of the Covid pandemic and the acute shortage of Managed Isolation Quarantine (MIQ) rooms in New Zealand, many citizens have been prevented from returning to their homeland in a timely manner. Their frustration and anger is exemplified by the likes of a full page advertisement which appeared in a recent issue of the New Zealand Listener and is reproduced on Rejigit with the kind consent of Mr Michael Horton who placed the original advertisement.
Michael Horton CNZM is a prominent New Zealand businessman and philanthropist. He was previously the Managing Director of Wilson and Horton Ltd which published the New Zealand Herald newspaper.
