Hisashi Ito is a clocksmith and optician. He operates a retail shop called Megane Tokei Ito located in the Honmachi area of Osaka.
During 2015 he began to use his artistic skill to produce miniature works of art using parts from watches and clocks. Not only does he produce intricate objet d'art the process utilises watch and clock parts which might otherwise be wasted. His watchmaking skill allows him to manufacture otherworldly insects, birds and animals etc at a small scale.
