New artistic creations from repurposed material

by The REJIGIT Blog

Brian Mock is based in Aloha, a small town in Washington County, Oregon. He is a self taught welder who uses his considerable skills to create artistic life-size works by utilising and repurposing metal parts and materials.

He is up for the challenge of creating new art works from a random collection of recovered raw material and he finds the process very gratifying.

Brian describes his artisanal work thus; "Giving old, everyday objects a new life as one sculpture is an artistically demanding, yet gratifying, process. My work is designed to emphasize resourcefulness and encourage viewer engagement. Audience reactions fuel my creativity and help me bring my visions to life."

His work can be viewed in galleries around the world, in public spaces and feature in a number of art publications. His sculptured pieces have been purchased by a number of high-end hotels across the U.S.
