Johnson Tsang is a Hong Kong based sculptor whose repertoire includes surreal figures fashioned from porcelain clay. He uses the pliable properties of white clay to produce unique pieces.

In 2002, he created the Yuanyang Series which focused on dramatic instantaneous splashes using ceramics and the collection was taken by the Hong Kong Museum of Art and the Yingge Ceramics Museum of Taiwan.

In 2009, he received "The Secretary for Home Affairs' Commendation" from the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region for his outstanding achievements in international art events.

In 2011 and 2012, his works, Bowls of Fantasy and Splash of Wonder were awarded the Special Prize of Korea Gyeonggi at the International Ceramix Biennale 2011 International Competition and Grand Prize of 2012 at the Taiwan International Ceramics Biennale.

Johnson has also worked with stainless steel sculpture etc and public art projects and he has been commissioned by a number of private companies and public bodies.
